Services & Details
Down to the smallest detail –
how I can support you
As a safety consultant, specialist planner and lecturer, I support companies, local authorities, cities and countries depending on their requirements and circumstances. From planning and concept development to crisis management and event management. This overview will give you an insight into the three main pillars of my work.
Strategic planning
Do you need a reliable guide so that everything relevant to a safe event can be taken into account holistically and tailored to your company? My strategic planning will give you the greatest possible security.
This includes, among other things …
Event safety
Crowd management
Authorisation processes
Strategic planning takes many factors into account and protects you from unexpected situations before and during the actual event.
In a joint roadmap, we clarify all questions and areas, including
- Dealing with other trades and parties involved,
- the question of budget and internal resources
specifications - Internal communication chains within emergency planning and feasibility
- Competence and responsibilities within the organisation
- Planning and implementation of external communication (with guests)
- Plan B and preparation of all parties involved
Consulting
The consultation is suitable for event managers, organisers, operators, authorities and those involved in an event. In particular, risks, processes and responsibilities should be communicated.
Clear advice & support for:
Safety conception
Directing and guiding flows of people (crowd management)
Authorisation procedures and communication with authorities
Counselling for operators
On-site consulting
A safe event is the result of effective and detailed planning in all areas of responsibility. During the consultation, we work together to identify potential hazards in good time, draw up plans and documents for seamless communication and shed light on all aspects of safety planning.
The greatest relief for all organisations involved is often the advice and support we provide on all official issues, which are crucial in determining whether the event is approved. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of all that!
Operative realisation
Do you have a vision that should not only take shape but also be successfully realised? I will ensure that the realisation runs smoothly and safely.
I accompany you in these functions:
Event management
Safety officer
Crowd management
Master of event technology
Fire protection officer
As an experienced event organiser, I know that security is interdisciplinary. It encompasses several areas that interact. From concept development, dealing with authorities, personnel issues with reliable teams to the actual coordination on site.
I accompany you every step of the way and am available as an on-site consultant for everyone involved.
If you are missing anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Safety consulting for events
A successful event?
No coincidence.
Safety consulting helps to minimise the risk of incidents, focus on the safety of everyone involved and ensure that the event runs smoothly. Both in the authorisation process and in the implementation of the event, and always tailored to your company and the event. This is not only crucial for the protection of the participants, but also for the success and reputation of the company acting as ‘host’. The size of the event is irrelevant.
Examples where I can advise or support you:
From small to large events
Annual General Meetings
Product launches & presentations

Conversions | Changes of use
Miscellaneous authorisations
Safety of participants
The safety of participants is the top priority at every event. Safety consultancy helps to identify risks and develop safety plans to minimise accidents and incidents. This can include the physical safety of participants and the prevention of health and safety issues.
Compliance with regulations
Regardless of their size, events are often subject to a large number of regulations and authorisations that must be complied with and obtained. The security consultancy supports your company in applying for the necessary licences and complying with legal regulations.
Risk management
Events always harbour risks, be it in terms of weather conditions, crowds, technical failures or other unforeseen events. The safety consultancy creates or supports the development process of the risk management plan in order to minimise risks and be able to react appropriately in the event of an emergency.
Planning and concept creation
The planning and organisation of events requires a trained eye. The security consultancy provides support in planning admission controls, security personnel, emergency measures and other logistical aspects. As well as the creation of entire security concepts and emergency management plans.
Crisis management
In the event of emergencies or unexpected incidents, it is important to have a well thought-out crisis management plan. Safety planning provides support in developing this plan and in training staff to deal with such situations.
Protection of reputation
A company’s reputation can be significantly damaged by poorly organised or unsafe events. A security consultancy can help to protect the company’s reputation by supporting the smooth running and general security of the event.
Experience and expertise
The security consultancy brings experience and expertise in the field of event security. This helps to recognise potential problems at an early stage and incorporate best practice into the planning and implementation of the event.

About Alexandra von Samson
From Wild West
to Safe Events.

How does event and concert planning actually work? I asked myself the same question at the end of the 90s and really wanted to ‘do something with events’. Since ‘learning by doing’ was the only school at the time, it quickly became my task to find out how it works and how I could get a little closer to my dream. As an intern at the Berlin club ‘Huxley’s Neue Welt’, I gained my first impressions and a lot of experiences that have shaped my entire professional life; otherwise I wouldn’t be here.
Back then, the event industry was a bit like the Wild West – simply doing and realising, sometimes somehow rather than following requirements and regulations. But the world of live entertainment has moved on and I have moved with it. And so I found my calling in the areas of authorisation procedures and safety planning.
Today, it can be easy to lose track of the many regulations and requirements, and I provide clarity. I provide advice, support and practical implementation.
With the first festival, I came into contact with the YOUROPE Event Safety Group (YES Group), a specialist group of international safety planners that has set itself the task of imparting knowledge and promoting the transfer of knowledge between European festivals. Today, in addition to my seat on the management board of the YES Group, I am also on the board of the German Association for Event Security (“Bundesverbands für Veranstaltungssicherheit – bvvs”) to support the transfer of knowledge and the harmonisation of standards at a national level.
With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, the live entertainment sector and other types of events, I work as a consultant for crowd safety as well as being responsible for the authorisation procedures for various types of events such as festivals, major sporting events and a wide variety of venues in Germany. Nothing is left to chance.
My clients and projects include the Berlin Olympic Stadium, the 2024 European Football Championships, the New Year’s Eve production at the Brandenburg Gate, the Lollapalooza Festival Berlin and the Superbloom Festival, two of Europe’s top music festivals. In the meantime, however, I count various industrial sectors among my clients.
Whether it’s preliminary consulting, strategic planning or the actual realisation, please tell me about your project and let’s find out how I can best support you.

Lectures | Panels
One step ahead.
As a lecturer, speaker and moderator for (specialist) panels, I see it as my job to inspire people in the industry, to network and to focus on the topic of security. For me, security is more than just an aspect of event planning – it is an attitude that can grow through sound knowledge and a strong dialogue in the industry. Lectures, courses and panel discussions are all about passing on practical knowledge and creating spaces for dialogue. Sharing experiences and perspectives is essential in order to develop sustainable solutions and set new standards.
It is important to me to strengthen others in their expertise and responsibility and to jointly shape an industry that sees safety as an integral part of every project. Networking professionals is the key to promoting innovative ideas and best practices.
Whether on stage, in the seminar room or as a speaker/moderator of panels – my passion is connecting people, sharing knowledge and finding ways to organise events safely and successfully together. Because only together can we have a lasting impact on the future of our industry.
Well-connected & globally networked.
Through my extensive networking and involvement in international working groups on all aspects of security planning, I am frequently invited as a guest for panel discussions and presentations at conferences in Germany and abroad, including the ILMC (International Live Music Conference) in London, and the European Festival Conference at various locations, the MaMa Festival in Paris and Eurosonic (ESNS) in Groningen.
I speak on topics such as crowd management, the impact of extreme weather conditions on events, integrated security planning and the general future challenges of crowd safety. Feel free to contact me if you are looking for support for your lecture series.
